Did ya'll stay in the remodeled section by the pool ? They've been working on the campground a lot lately.

We just got back home from staying seven days at Stone Mtn CG this evening. There were three WC's there while I was there. Talk about HOT. Whew!! Two days at Six Flags, two days at Stone Mtn Park, a day at the Georgia Aqarium, World of Coke, and the rest, just trying to stay cool at the pool. The CG is really nice. We stayed in the new section near the pool. Other older sections had already had some paving done. We stayed on site 158, but was tight, I highly reccommend 157. We will go back some day. The staff is very friendly. The laser show is great. Shuttle buses take you every where. The humidity was a killer. For a family that lives in the mountains of N.C., it was Hot. But after serving in Iraq for 16 months, I felt I handled it well. LOL. As for Georgia families like Admin ( Phillip , Carol & Meredith ), you guys are tough!!

I've seen more people fall out from the heat this summer than any other time. The heat index has truly been a killer.

Six Flags had to of been 150 deg's.

Did you do the sky walk tower at Stone mountain ?

We did do the sky walk. Probably twice on all levels. The wife did not make the top level. The way that is built and the safety harness is a pretty neat invention. Wish I had one in the back yard. LOL. Thanks for all the info. that you had provided to us on Stone Mountain. It was great.

Is that the coolest thing ? I still haven't made it to the 3rd level yet. I can do the other 2 levels pretty easy that 3rd one is a killer for me. I totally ain't into heights.
