32QBBS Holding Tanks

Post by MrZss on 5/2/2008, 5:25 am

Here's a couple of questions for those who recently bought the late 2008 32QBBS. The holding tank gauges specifically differentiate between the gray water and galley holding tanks. As well, there are two drain valves besides the black tank drain. However, neither in my documentation nor on the FR website, can I find any information. The latest 2008 brochure lists just the black and gray tanks.

So ... what are the capacities of the gray tank and the galley tank? Also, which valve opens which tank (both are listed as "waste water" ?

Thanks,

I'm not 100% sure on the capacities, but the rear valve is the galley and the front valve is the shower tank.

Yea Pickle ... I did see those numbers in the 2008 brochure. I'm assuming the 100 gal is the total of the two tanks. It would be nice to find out the individual capacity of each tank. BTW ... nice advatar!

Thanks Steve. Did you find something, or just pay closer attention during the orientation than I did ...

probably not closer attention, but I do use a clear elbow to dump with, and I know what the water looks like coming from each of the tanks. :x

I am one that found my manuals totally worthless as they had no usable information. Fortunately, DW taped our walk-thru and I have on "film" that all three of tanks (Grey, Black, and Galley) are each 40 gallons in the 31QBH, if that is of any help.

I'd find it hard to fathom a 100 gal tank on an RV though.

Toy haulers can have 120 gallon fresh tanks, not to mention 20 - 40 gallon fueling stations. When you go to Glamis for a long weekend of riding with the family, I can see where you'd want to wash the sand out each evening.
