Blow Outs and Fender Replacement
I had a blow out on a off brand Triangle brand ,,,,, My other Power Kings that came stock I still haven't had any trouble with. Matter of fact the Power King held steady while I drove a half mile to an exit so I could get off the road and into a gravel parking lot.
I called Kyle at Forest River Parts department. Kyle=574-206-7600
New fender for my 32Qbbs, 49.95 plus shipping with a big box its 30 dollars.
So I ordered two fenders for $132.00 I believe was the final total..... So if you live near Elkheart you can swing by and pick up a fender for 50 bucks.....

You are lucky you got off so cheaply. Any photos of your damage?

Re: Blow Outs and Fender Replacement
I'll take some pics tomorrow. it cracked the fender and put some black racing stripes on the fender but thats about all. I had already spotted the tire at my last gas stop and had a feeling it was gonna turn loose so I was'nt going to fast and was keeping a close eye on the mirror.

The middle part of the tire was bulging out a little. Generally they should be flat looking across the width of the tire. It was looking more like a wheelbarrow shaped tire. I think once they reach that point they've already seperated on the inside, its just how long will the outside rubber last before it seperates from the rest of the tire.
It must have been low when I left orlando,fl. The one that blew was a " triangle " brand ? The one that held was the power king and it was bulged out also. I think it was just trying to hold the one that blew up off the ground. It was still bulged out when I got home. So I'll replace it also. I gotta give it to the Power King, it stood up well under pressure. I seriouly couldn't believe it didn't blow. The spare I had was a worn Power King also.

Re: Blow Outs and Fender Replacement
I had one that got the wheelbarrow shape too. Noticed it when we were setting up at a new CG. Thankfully we had been in stop and go trafic almost the whole time and I suspect thats the only reason it didn't blow.

Re: Blow Outs and Fender Replacement
Finally got around to ordering my new fenders. After a hot trip to Gulf shores last year and two blowouts I managed to destroy both fenders. Just now got around to ordering a week ago. Called Kyle at FR and he fixed me up. He said he didn't have the originals but had a newer style. Got them 2day! Quick shipping! He was very nice and helpful. They look a lot better than the originals. Will post b4 and after pics whenever I get around to them. Been just too dang hot here in north Alabama. 103* today
