Use it or lose it?
Just wondering how many nights the average forum member has spent in their Wildcat this year so far.
Lets say from Jan. 1st until June 30th. Do not include towing days; Only nights slept in your Cat.
How many nights have you spent or will spend in your Cat by June 30th?
By June 30 we will have spent 25 nights in our Cat this year.
I plan to start another thread late in the year with dates ranging from July 1st through December. With this info we can get an idea of how many nights and what time of year most of us use our Cats.

Re: Use it or lose it?
Only 19 nights so far this year. That was a trip to Florida, and a 3 night trip to our favorite local campground.
Normally, we would have had three 3-week trips by now. But health issues kept us home. We don't usually go on long trips during the summer - just a few 2-3 night stays at one of our local campgrounds.
We also go out for AT LEAST one long trip (about 3 weeks) in the fall.
This year, we cut out a couple trips because the trip money is going towards Tater's implants....... dental.
If it weren't so darn hot, we'd be camping now. Just too hot to hook up.

Re: Use it or lose it?
1 night while going to Texas
30 nights in Texas
1 night while coming from Texas
The trip was middle January to middle February.
Should have stayed in Florida because the weather was a lot better. It was cold, damp and a lot of rain.
Up coming trip in middle July to Missouri which will be about 40 days.
About 2 nights on the road each way.

We're near the bottom of the pack with only 3 nights so far.
When I get to Wyoming later this summer, I'll more than make up for lost time though.

181 days and counting between January 1st and June 30th. We'll leave here on September 7th and spend three weeks on the road getting home, arriving on September 26th. Let's see, that'll be 279 days sleeping in our favorite place to live.

Re: Use it or lose it?
We, or actually I, said it was too hot to take the trailer out. Heat doesn't bother Scruffy as much as it does me. So he said we should plan on taking her out after July 4th, and then two or three nights every two or three weeks for the rest of the summer. He said I would stay inside whether at home or in the trailer - that's true - and I'd probably enjoy being outdoors in the mornings and evenings. So, that was our plan...... until this morning when Scruffy broke his foot while waxing the truck. We know it's fractured, but won't know for sure until the orthopedist gets a chance to look at the x-rays. For the time being, Scruffy is hobbling around on crutches. This is the first broken bone he's had in his life.
Looks like I'll be learning how to drive a Deere.

Tater,
Really sorry to here about Scruffy's dilema. There are so many bones in the foot as to be unbelievable. That being said, Bonnie and I wish him well and pray for a quick recovery.
BTW, I thought that you're supposed to wax the truck with your hands ......
