Hiking Advice

Post by Richard Mondavi on 6/22/2010, 12:49 am

While hiking a trail in the Table Rock Lake area of Branson, MO I came across this sign with advice on how to deal with being lost in the woods.

You certainly picked a good month to be on the lake. The water will be perfect for swimming, skiing, etc. Are you staying at a COE park, State park, or one of the many privately run campgrounds?

We will be staying at the Lake State Park in campground 2. Always stay there, full hook up and about $24. I think this year most sites are concrete. Clean park, clean restrooms, showers and folks are friendly. Big boat dock and about 15 min from heart of Branson.

The state park is really nice. Last fall they were upgrading a number of the camp sites in the state park. We might be heading down there in early October this year.

I love that fire and water fountain they have in Branson at The Landing.
