Only me a newbe
Hi, I have just moved up from a Georgie boy motor home to a wildcat
20lsbs, wow the size difference is amazing, especially the height inside
(her in doors can not reach all the cupboards) I have to stand on a
chair to reach the roof light over the kitchen.I think I will need all sorts of help and ideas in the near future to do mods and maintenance on my unit due to it being unloved by it's previous owner. I have only been on two trips so far and had to do a few things to make it work properly. But I love a challenge and will give any thing a try. My biggest problem is living in the U.K where every thing is a bit smaller, roads, cars, motor homes, caravans and trying to find the parts I need locally. I also hope that I can be as helpful to the Wildcat community as it is going to be for me.
So please keep an eye open for my next posting as you may have the answer I need

Theres another member from the UK on here also, haven't heard from them in awhile though.
Theres just about somebody here on the board all the time so if you run into a jam and need something quick we're here.
Are you able to get parts pretty easy ?

Re: Only me a newbe
Hi, and thanks for the warm welcome.Just a quick reply about the roads, my main problem is low bridges, and my sat nav sending me down roads that are way too narrow. As regards to parts E-bay has been quite a good resource for parts, apart when companies will not post to the U.K.

Re: Only me a newbe
to the Wildcat forum. You'll find all sorts of mods in the Do It Yourself threads, and some more in the gallery. Also, if you've noticed the links in some of our signatures, most of them will take you to even more mods. For your maintenance problems, ask away. You'll get suggestions from the active members. Do a search to find answers from members who helped in the past, but are no longer active.
