Dealer Trip

Post by schrowang on 6/11/2010, 4:15 pm

The DW and I, along with another Workamper couple, traveled to Marion, NC to see what Tom Johnson RV had on the lot. Nestled in among the conga line of Super A's were a line of 5er's including some Wildcats.

We walked through a 30RKBS and were pretty much satisfied with the overall plan (no intention of getting rid of our current Cat, just looking). One thing that we noticed that we didn't like was the fake stone surround on the living/dining slide. They also had this stuff behind the stove as a kind of splash panel. Boy the DW didn't like that at all. Said it would be a grease trap. I hope that stuff isn't standard and has to be ordered special.

The fake stone on the slide-outs is a factory option called Upgraded slide-out fascia (living room) stone work. I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe this option includes all the other fake rock panels as well.
