toilet leak

Post by racerx179 on 6/6/2010, 9:49 am

My toilet is leaking at the base by the floor. Its not leaking underneath because I can check the pipe from the storage area and its not wet. Any ideas?

Might need to replace the floor gasket.

Make sure the toilet mounting bolts are tight. If it's ceramic you'll have four of them. Be carefull though, it's easy to crack a china toilet.

We had a toilet leak that we thought was coming from the base, but it wasn't. Click on the link to see how we solved the problem.
