Cape Woods Campground in Buxton NC on Hatteras Island

We stayed at Cape Woods Camp Ground in Buxton NC for Memorial Day weekend. It is only about a mile from the Hatteras Light House. We really liked the Campground. I would recommend it. They have mostly seasonal sites in the campground, but plenty of sites for us weekenders. The campground is not directly on the beach, but only a short drive. Here is a link to them. Cape Woods They were much cheaper than the KOA. We pulled in on Friday and left Monday and paid $180.
