New Hitch

I just installed a new hitch last night. It's a Valley 16K Pull Maxx. One question I had is how far should the "jaw" open? When I pull the arm out as far as it will go to open the jaw, the jaw is still covering slightly less than half of the opening for the king pin.

When you back the hitch pin in the jaw will open all the way. That action will release the jaw so it snaps shut when the pin is all the way in. It works the same as Reese Signature head. One single wrap around jaw.

I tried it out tonight for the first time and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help.
