Oshkosh Air Show

Thoughts or experiences going to and camping at the Oshkosh air show? We are contemplating going up this year with some friends, and I don't know anything about the camping arrangements other than I have been told first come / first serve. We would probably be going later in the week.

Not sure on actual camping on the grounds but there are many campgrounds in the area as well.
I've never camped here but see many tents set up each year when the broadcast the show and people on TV.
Many people camp or stay in the Oshkosh area and drive in each day.
Most camping in the area should be listed in Woodalls or what ever source you normally use.

Thanks for the info. I did a little more research, and it looks like most of the camping is tent type. You can have campers, but I think you need to buy multiple sites in order to fit. It looks like we are going to have to miss it this year, I may have been trying to over-plan my vacation time........
