Demco, Equa-Flex and Bilstein
I'm hoping someone can help me. I am going to have a Demco Glide, Equa-Flex(with wet blots) and Bilstein shocks installed on my 5th Wheel and truck. I can't find out what current pinbox I'm using, there is no label indicating this, I think it is a Lippert 1621. I also can't find what the GAWR is for my 5th Wheel model, again i tihink it is 5200. The manual says to subtract the hitch weight(1330) from the GVWR(11490) to get the GAWR. This equals 10,160 for a GAWR, it doesn't sound right.
Any help would be appreciated,
Gary

You either have 5200# axles or 6000#. There should be a tag on the axle tubes.
The lippert 1621 is the common one, but you can measure the bolt hole locations and look up the pinbox.

Our 06 29RLBS has 5200# axles, yes you can look on hte tag on the axle tube.
We also replaced the pin box with the Demko, our original pin box was a 1621.
I really think you are going to like the Demko & Equa Flex combo.

I would like to thank all of you for your input. With your help, I now know what to order. The tag on the axle tube states 5200lbs. And I received an e-mail from Rod at Forest River indicating that I have a 1621 pinbox.

The combination of Demco, Equa Flex and Bilstein is nearly the "trinity" of Wildcat towing. You should be very pleased with the ride results.
One word of caution with your new Bilsteins...be very careful not to overload them. I did, and my ride became extremely rough (cattle truck rough) when unloaded. I had to replace shocks because of it.

Off topic but.....Bilstein shocks are lifetime guaranteed. I have had them on my truck for over 4 years and have had no problems.
