Observations of dleonardtx's Rig

Post by Maxtor on 4/14/2010, 7:57 am

Beyond the nice looking lady in the picture, I see that they had the foresight to bring a table cloth to cover the picnic table, two very nice looking dogs, but my question is where do they mount the canoe while traveling?

Maybe they just grabbed it from another site after they got set-up.

I seen racks on top of the cab of a few pickups that extend over the hood to carry boats.

We have a folding picnic table I got at Costco. It's heavy and big, but it's sturdy. We don't cover it. That's extra work and you have to deal with the wind.

I saw a 5th wheel rig the other day with a canoe mounted the regular way on the cab and it looked like it had plenty of room, not sure of the size of the canoe though.
