My Favorite : Durhamtown Plantation :

Union Point ,GA , If you like riding ATV/ DirtBikes/ Utv's,, This place is like Disney World for off road riding. The owner has 20,000 Acres. 10,000 is used for the riding trials. Full Hook up campground with Wifi around the lodge, or access to public computers . Full Pro shop for anything you left at home. From boots to helmets to tires. They have it all. About 6 MX tracks the last time I counted. A Free STyle Ramp area for pro's only. A lot of the pros come here to stay and practice. Drag strip , Miles and miles of Trails for biginners , to pro's. miles of single track for enduro type riding. Flat track......... Mx bike section at the lodge.

FDR, at Pine Mountain georgia, franklin d roosevelt state park. Very nice state park, Very clean, easy dump station, Very clean restrooms, Hiking trails that leave out right at some of the campsites, Most sites are seperated well. The best of all its right next to Callaway Gardens, Miles of paved bike trials. Butterfly house, horticultural building, azaleas out the wazoo.....

Bald Ridge state park : Lake Lanier north of atlanta. Right now the water level is still low. The park is super nice, Very Clean, Most sites are Water front and most sites are wooded in between them.

Mistle Toe State park : Strom Thurmond Lake, Augusta / Camak Ga...... Very Clean, Lots of trails, Great place for Bike riding, Most sites are Water front, and boy what Views. Big playground for the kids, right next to the swim area. Augustas about 15miles away.

Lake Oconee, Georgia Power Park, Greensboro/Eatonton Ga area. Off I-20 between augusta and Atlanta. REally nice park, only half of the sites are Water front. and some sites have lake view. The sites inland are very nice and clean as well. You can reserve a specific site which is really nice if you have a favorite by the water. Ga power also has a lot of other campgrounds on other lakes as well. Check their site for details.

We stayed in a campground in Valdosta, GA, once. It was nice, can't remember the name. There were lots of trees, in fact, we lost the refrigerator vent off the top of the trailer due to a low lying limb. :(

Where'd you get your new one from? Mine has a piece missing from the hail storm.

I think we got a new one at Camping World in Kissimmee, FL. Fortunatly, we didn't have any rain while it was off.
