Surge Protection
What kind of Surge Protector do you guys recommend? I know that everyone has their own favorites, but what is the general consensus?
With that said, does the AutoFormer provide surge protection and if it does, is it sufficient on its own?
BTW, Love the site, loads of great information!!
Thanks,
Dusty

Re: Surge Protection
Dusty, the Autoformer works great by all accounts, but is very pricy.
For straight surge protection and nothing more, this is what we use on site. We bought it at our local hardware store and avoided paying a premium for it.

Re: Surge Protection
The autoformer has basic surge suppression. If I recall correctly, they recommend additional surge protection. I have both.

Re: Surge Protection
I also went with the basic surge protector from camper world. I was it with our generator and use the switch on the surge protector as the on off switch.
