2007 32QBBS Price

Post by Future5'er on 4/7/2010, 6:42 pm

Hello all, first post so please bare with me. As of yet, I am not a Wildcat owner, but have heard this is the place to come if I had any questions about the Wildcats. I am looking at purchasing a '07 32QBBS. The owner is asking $18,900. The unit appears to be in good shape, although there are some strange hard water looking stains on the kitchen faucet. I find this odd because this is the third 32QBBS I have looked at and they all had the same stain. Other than that, I am pleased with the layout. Just curious about the price. Does that seem fair?

Not sure what to say about the water stains. Might want to pull the plug on the H2O heater, may need a new Anode Rod.

As for price, sounds about right. As much as I hate to say it I paid about $2k more than that for my '06 32QBBS last June. I seen some post on here the other day, an '06 going for $18,500 I believe?

Good luck! This is a great place to bounce ideas around if you do pull the trigger!!

Hey dragynj, thanks for your input. I'm hoping I can haggle the guy down another K or two then pull the trigger. I sold my bumper pull 3 years ago and haven't been camping since, so needless to say, I am ready to get back into camping.

Welcome to the site Future5er.
The price seems very reasonable at least here on the east coast where a new 32 goes well over 30k.
Where are you located? Is it an east or west coast model? No matter which one i beleave that to be a good price for a maintained unit.
Again Welcome.

You can go to RVwholesalers and get a new 2010 for 26K $

I'd offer 16,000. Depending on where he bought it he may owe more than 18,000 on it. if thats the case he's not going to be able to neg. much.

But I'd low ball pretty low. check the tires for age / date code, valve stems - if their rubber their crap, if the tires are stock your looking at a new set of tires, etc..... Thats a good case for a low offer. also check the screws just behind the pin box hitch above your head if you were standing under it. if theres screws missing walk away. and check the other usuals heat, a/c, fridge gas and elec, onboard charger etc...

Mines a 07' and I was in the right place at the right time and got it really really low.

I'd say if you could get it for 16500 give or take a 100 you'd be to the good. Any more than that and it would be worth your while to look into a 2010 model from RVwholesalers if your on the east coast.

I appreciate all of your input. OK, here's my next question. Do any of you have a real hitch weight on this unit? The brochure states 1500lbs. I have been reading these forums long enough not to trust the weights given in the brochures. We all know those numbers are fudged for the sake of a sale. Alright, I will sit back and wait for a reply.

So, has anybody have a 'real' hitch weight on a '07 32QBBS?
