Mr Clean

Post by bags24 on 4/6/2010, 1:24 am

As i was washing the Cat over the weekend the BH came out with some of those Magic Erasers sponges.
It was the best things i ever used to clean the molding strips, tire cover, edging strips, black streaks and just about any other surface. They are a bit flimsy (after a trip to the local market buying 10 of them the Cat looks Great with very little effort scrubing those hard to clean spots.
I did use Spray9 cleaner with it but all is nice and clean now.
Going to try getting a coat of wax on it this week.
Happy Camping and Cleaning to All......

I also cleaned the Cat up this weekend. All scrubbed up and just about ready for the first trip and back in the garage. I just need to put treatment on the roof. I have used the Mr. Clean erasers but not on the RV. Now that you mentioned it that is a great idea. Will be putting some in the Cat tool box. I don't remember if it was this forum or RV.NET but someone had mentioned to use a wet dryer softner sheets to remove bugs. I tried that this weekend and couldn't believe how well it worked. Thought I had a new tool but Mr. Clean may take care of everything.

Wet used dryer sheets are good for cleaning sinks and around faucets.

I second the Magic Erasers, they really work great on the plastic/vinyl trim and the white cover on the back of the frig. If only they lasted a little longer.

You can say that again!!

We can't wait to pull our Cat out of storage. Not only do we have the "itch" to go camping, but I still have unfinished projects held over from 2009.

Only on the lower portion, where no bugs were splattered, My front cap was almost clean of bugs due to not many out yet here on the east coast.
But i do think they will work, you just use them up so fast it may be tough up on a ladder.
