ROAD TRIP!!!!

Post by dragynj on 3/31/2010, 6:20 pm

Leave tomorrow to fly from WA to ND to get the WC. Will be heading out of Hazen, ND early Friday AM and should get to Tri Cities, WA sometime Saturday afternoon or evening!! If anyone here lives or will be on or around I94 or I90 the next couple days keep an eye out for a rouge ND WC passing by!! Hoping to get lots of pics and video and will post once I return. On a side note, I was planning on making the trip solo, but my Dad offered to make the trip with me at the last minute! Will be a great time with dear old dad and the open road!!!!

Now, just hope there are no breakdowns. . .

Sorry, should have clarified. I left the tow vehicle in ND as well as the Cat. Picked them both up!

Made it back in 1 piece!! No blow outs, no tranny issues (although my 6.0 huffed and puffed through some of those passes!!!) I will be working on some pictures tomorrow and video to follow!!

Out of our 21hrs of driving only managed one good picture of the Cat on the trip. Picture is from Lookout Pass between Coeur D'alene and Missoula. We seen about every kind of weather on this trip. Luckily there was no accumulation in the pass!!

I should note too that PeeWee the hamster was brought to his new house on this trip as well!! :) We left him in ND and he got to go cross country with us in grand fashion. (if you don't know who PeeWee is yet, watch the vid. hahahaah)

That's a great video you put together and I loved the music. Thanks for sharing it with us. Now do one without so much snow in it please, I got cold just watching the darn thing.

Corel Videostudio Pro X3. This was my first video since I purchased a digital camcorder. I downloaded the free trial version and love it. Had some problems with it crashing though. I will be on the phone with them before I purchase the full version, hoping it's just a patch or update that I need.

Thanks. I've used Pinnacle Studio in the past. I have version 9 and I see it is now up to version 14!! I know I'm at least a couple years behind in getting my camcorder videos on to something more presentable. I'm going to check out the Corel Videostudio... your end product looked great
