video wire to the pinbox
I'm looking into putting a rear view camera on the fifth wheel. One thing that I have yet to figure out yet is the best way to fish a wire to the pinbox (I would like a wired camera). Looking from the front storage compartment forward, it looks like a bunch of wood and steel would be in the way. Has anyone drilled through this material with success and been able to fish a wire forward to the pinbox? At this point I'm wondering if it would be best to go up with the wire into the bedroom under the bed and then hopefully down on top of the pinbox in some way. I do not have a bedroom slide so my bed headboard is the front of the trailer. Any thoughts or tips?

Re: video wire to the pinbox
I recently added reverse lights to our Cat. They are wired to activate by the trucks tranny and a rocker switch in the storage compartment.
I had to fish a wire through the same area your interested. I simply loosened one screw on the cats fiberglass skin between the pin box and storage compartment. Pushed a fish tape from the opening at the pin box into the storage compartment. (Your actually between the skin and the bedroom floor above and will come out above all the frame work your seeing in the storage compartment.)
I spent more time trying to find and easy route than I did pulling the wire. Maybe 10 minutes maximum total time. No drilling. No mess.
Hopefully yours is the same.

Did the same thing when I ran my back-up lights. I pulled out a couple of those screws, but it was not necessary, one would have worked just fine.
