Clues to RV Park Quality

Post by Richard Mondavi on Sun Mar 28, 2010 12:12 pm

We're currently headed back home from Bay St. Louis, MS. Along the way we stopped at Movietown RV park in Canton, MS to overnight. We have been using this park for overnight stops along I-55 for many years. It was a nice park when we first started using it but the RV park has been going down hill for many years. It has finally gotten to the point that we won't be stopping there anymore.

Here are some visual clues that an RV park might not be for you.

A gun case by the front door, a freezer behind the trailer, and cinder blocks for stabilizers.

Another clue, three guys working on a vehicle like this.

That must be their tow vehicle.

Another clue:

Note the built in residential A/C unit in the front of the permanent TT in the second pix.

A dead give-away.

I breaks my heart to see a once thriving RV park going down hill.

Wow good eyes schrowang, I didn't even notice the window air conditioner when I took the photo.

I like the air tank and all the equipment under the trailer. Yes, I believe it has become a permanent trailer court no longer a campground.

looked like a good place to get caught in the middle of a family gun battle.

Now, now. A few years ago the wife and I stayed at a place in Dollywood that was up on a ridge. We had daily entertainment looking down into Hootin' Holler watching the cops settle disputes. When you can listen to the discussion at 100yds it's loud, I guess. Wink
