Concertone Radio Ant. ?

Post by f150k on 3/22/2010, 7:22 am

I took the Concertone radio out today and it has a connection for a radio antenna but nothing is hooked up to it. It looks like the old style car radio ant. Connection, does anyone know how the radio signal get from the roof ant to the radio?

Somewhere behind the unit, you should see the antenna cable just laying there since they obviously forgot to hook it up. How has it been working up till now? Were you able to get any stations?

Thank you thats what I thought but I could not locate it, I will have to look again. Radio did not receive very well only very close local stations. The cable should look like the old car ant wire, correct.

I looked and looked, stuck my hand in and around the hole in the cabinet that the coax comes in, and there it was back in the wall. The radio works much better being hooked up to an antenna. thanks

Amazing how some things miss PDI at the factory and dealer. I would assume that both of them would test the radio!!

Our water heater electric was also not hooked up. I had a hard time finding the power cord, it was still wrapped up next to the front of the water heater. The only thing is that the lady we bought our cat from told us that Her and late Husband bought the trailer just before they came back from AZ in 2007. They traveled home for 3 days and He died 2 or 3 days after they got home. The trailer sat for 2 years before she decided to sell. Sad, He never really got to use it. So I have had to go through a lot of things, I think the dealer just made a quick sell and put them on their way. All in all it has been a GREAT 5th wheel.
