Hauling an Electra Glide

Post by sidekicker on Mon Mar 22, 2010 5:36 am

Looking at hauling a Harley Electra Glide in a 31thsb side ramp toy hauler. Rated for 800 lb. capacity. Bike may be 50 lbs + over. Anyone have any experience?

Welcome to the site!!!! Hopefully somebody with that model will have some help for. I can't imagine that 50 pounds would make a difference, but that is just my opinion.

Admin, you may want to move this topic to another section.

Click on this link and see there camper, they haul an electra glide also. I think they modified the side wall some kinda way so the front wheel fit in there better or something of the sort.

H.O.G. Hauler is their user name see if you can send them a message and see what they did.

We looked at this model before deciding to go with a 31TS. I have a 2003 Classic dresser and a local dealer let me ride the bike up the ramp to see if it would fit. Unfortunately it was to tight for me. The touring pak would have hit the ramp door if I would have let them close it. The dealers son rode Harleys also and he admitted the dresser was a little to big. So..we went with the 31TS as the living room had more space and didn't want to give up on the kitchen and living room. Figured we would trade off camping without the bike and would rent or send it forward for pick up when we tour for entended camping.

Good luck if you decide to go with the 31thsb.
