UPDATE to Proposed Fed Reduction to Senior Discounts

Feds backed down:

Half price discount for seniors to continue. Last Wednesday Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell announced his decision to not reduce the fee structure charged for holders of passes at Forest Service campgrounds operated by private contractors!

Yes, I saw that on the Internet. That makes me REALLY happy. I love discounts and I especially love discounts on camping fees.

I especially like to see discounts for seniors and people with disabilities who have these passes. Nice news.
