Make Up Your Mind!!!

It was sunny and nearly 70 here yesterday. Was temped to bring the Cat home and get it ready to go...until I saw the forecast. It's going to snow today and tomorrow with highs in the low 30s.

I guess getting the Cat out of hibernation will have to wait awhile longer.

Cabin fever had got me BAD this year!!!

Blame the coming cold weather on me.

I de-winterized the Cat yesterday.

Near 70 and sunny here the last three days. Calling for cooler temps and rain on Sunday and cold with snow showers on Monday.

This was the coldest and most snowy winter we've had in over 30 years. Dec, Jan and Feb averaged around 20 degrees below normal for us.

Its the never ending winter. I've had enough.

It was 81 degrees here today. Forecast for mid 70's throughout next week. I had the car a/c on today.. I don't like temperatures above 76 degrees. Mid July here it will be 110-115 degrees on average.

15 degree this morning , will it ever go away? Where is that damn Global Warming?

Since we returned in January, we have had the luxury of staying in one of the cottages here at the KOA. I say luxury, because, according to the locals, this was one of the snowiest and coldest winters on record for this part of NC.

We just finished de-winterizing the Cat and moved in yesterday. It has been in the mid 40's at night and high 50's to mid 60's during the day. Spring seems to have finally arrived here in the mountains. The trees are starting to bud out, the birds are chirping, the doves are billing and cooing and the turtles in the lilly pond are sunning themselves on the logs.

Oh yeah, tomorrow and Monday it's supposed to go down into the mid 30's with a rain/snow mix.

Ain't paradise grand?

Gotta love camping .....

But, a bad day camping is better than a good day anywhere else.

You folks out east must be getting the same weather that just rolled through here over the past 24 hrs. We've got about an inch of snow sticking to the ground this morning, but it should melt off tomorrow as it's supposed to be in the 50s again. I guess it's much worse down toward Kansas City and surrounding area.

I will be coming your way soon,,, I like 50's so tell the weather to stay there. What are your average temperatures in May? I will trade you, it will be 70 plus for this month, then 80's in April, then 80's to 90's in May, then 90's to 100's in June here.

Maxtor, We usually see averages between 50 and 60 during the day, and mid 40s at night. Who knows this year though.
