Anyone know of a nice CG close to Fort Knox that they would recommend?

Do you have amember in the Army? If so he/she can sponsor you at Camp Crlson Army recreation area and I think it is only 4.5 miles from the Fort Knox. They have weekly rates around $96-$102 and daily rates around $18.00 for full hookups.

This one has good reviews, but I've never been to Kentucky, yet....

Our youngest son will be graduating from Fort Knox in July.

We were told by ex-military that WE had to be active or retired to use Base CGs. Our son's active status evidently doesn't qualify.

Thanks Frank, it looks like a really nice CG. I just shot off an e-mail to them asking them to clarify their policy. Hopefully, I'll hear back from them soon.

I retired from the military service and I have sponsored my sister into the Naval base campground without any problem. You son is active duty and he has higher priority than I do and can sponsor you on the base campground.
