Cabinet Door Resource
I am trying to find matching cabinet doors to finish off some "new spaces" that I have uncovered. Is Forest River an option? If so, does anyone know who to contact at the factory? Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Not really sure, but you could start out with:
Rod Batts
574-206-7609
rbatts@forestriverinc.com
He should be able to steer you in the right direction.

I did this and I got the door off of my dealer. He ordered it and it came to my house in about a week, and the price was reasonable. hope this helps.Frank L wrote:I am trying to find matching cabinet doors to finish off some "new spaces" that I have uncovered. Re: Cabinet Door Resource
I had purchased a cabinet door and hardware directly from Forest River. I wanted to close the opening below our tv to hide the wires and also store cd's there. The drawer front on the drawer below the dinette seat was an exact match for the size I needed. I had e mailed Rod Batts but a guy by the name of Kyle responded. He was helpul and turned my order around quick. I would start by e mailing Rod as Old Elmer indicates. I am confident they will take care of you.

I believe this is the guy you want, he sent me some new linoleum last year. I think he said he was in Elkhart Indiana at Forest Rivers main east coast plant.

Let us know who you end up ordering from, so we can document it for future reference.

Re: Cabinet Door Resource
this is the same hole I put the door on. Maybe someday the factory will do this, makes it look more complete. I was in Concord, N.C.{this where we bought our 5th wheel} and showed the dealer whitch door would fit and they ordered everything I needed. Fit perfectly. If I remember it cost me somewhere around $35.00.KHUBER wrote:I had purchased a cabinet door and hardware directly from Forest River. We found some doors (not matching) at an RV surplus store. The designs don't match and we are having to refinish them to get the right color or at least very close. They cost about $5.00 each. We're working on the projects now, and will have pictures in a couple weeks or sooner.

Re: Cabinet Door Resource
After reading this post and thinking about, the shelf in the master bedroom of our 32 QBBS where a tv space is. While cleaning the Cat I noticed there was a hole bounced right through the shelf from the TV the better half said we needed in there, (in 4 yrs have never used). I e-maile Kyle Hilliard on Thursday 3-11-10 @ around 730pm. I had a responce for further info when i checked my e-mail on the morning of the 12th and by 9am had sent and received 2 additional e-mails and placed the order for a new matching shelf, ( BH said no 1/4 plywwod wouldnt due).
I must say i give ForestRiver a standing ovation on hiring such a vigilant person to handle customer service.
Thanks to my fellow Wildcat Forum Campers for having his name and e-mail handy, and the ideas that i get here for repairs or upgrades.
P.S I removed the Tv and the BH says its a great spot for a fake plant...Go figure.

I as well had a very positive experience with Kyle. I am surprised that they work with the end user and do not make you go through a dealer.
