I'm near lake george ny.three hours due north of nyc and 3 hours due south of montral canada.45 minutes due north of albany (which is the capital) and 20 minutes from saratoga race track.

. Hopefully one of the GMC owners will jump in with some helpful information on a hitch. I would go with a automatic slider hitch myself if the $$ will allow it. Happy Travels. Jim

WELCOME! Riverrat, I also have a GMC 6.5 & 28 wildcat rkbs, I went with a super glide , made by Pullright. love it it's worth money!

Welcome RiverRat. I have a new F-250 with a Super Glide and echo it works great. Pricey, but we don't have to recall which mode we have it in as it's automatic. Good luck with your decision.
