Dump valve

Post by fire128us on 2/21/2010, 4:33 pm

Is it hard to replace the dump valves with new ones? Does anyone have pics that has done this? And about how long does it take for the average handyman to do it? I need to replace mine, but I don't have the time to get into anything that will take more than an hour to do. Thanks

If you plan just to replace them with new ones, it will not take long at all. I don't know what model your camper is (please update profile signature). They are held in with 4 small bolts each. The one that could be a little harder (depending on your unit), that would be the 3" black water valve, if it is really close to the underbelly like ours was. But I still think that you can exchange all 3 of them within an hour, just be sure to get new gaskets with the valves.
