Re: This Guy Makes Me Want To Buy A Wildcat!!
Well, I think his first statement, A 4 SEASON COACH, isn't true. We all know none of our Wildcats are 4 season units. I am surprised at the insulation around the water/cable/ dump valves though.
But, there was only 2 dump valves, is this correct? Any comments from you 31TS owners.
But, still feel good about your buying a WC, we are still very happy with ours. Just itching to hit the road.

My goodness he certainly gave an enthusiastic reveiw of the Wildcat. I wonder how he would act with a true "high-end" fifth wheel? You know, one that really is a 4 season trailer and designed for full-timing.
After watching the video I wanted to trade in my 2008 for a new one. Forest River should hire this guy if he doesn't already work for them.

Re: This Guy Makes Me Want To Buy A Wildcat!!
There is another 29rlbs here in the RV resort where we are staying for a few days. I think the owner said it is a 2008. He was saying that one day his wife said the kitchen drain wasn't working. That was when he found out that he was emptying just two of his waste tanks. The valve for the third tank is near the rear, under the slide. There is a little door in the slide that gives access to the valve.
I suggested that they look at our forum for all sorts of information and help. I'm out of "business" cards, so will give them a piece of paper with our url.

I thought it was odd that there was only 2 drain valves showing when there is really 3.
Wonder why they didnt put the other inside the door too.

I wouldn't say my 2006 29RLBS is 4 season, but we have camped in it several times down in the teens without being uncomfortable. We are winding up a trip now, heading home tomorrow, with the first week mostly in the low 20's. Suprisingly though, I am still operating on my first tank of propane.

I liked the guys salesmanship!! Made me feel SMART about buying a WC! *L*
ezrider, I ran my WC on a week long hunting trip (Frig, hotwater, stove and heater) and seems I used less than 1/4 tank of propane. Took one tank to get a refill and guy said it was 70% full!! Of course, I'm not complaining!!

Does anyone know what the screw type cover that was in the video at 31 seconds (over his left shoulder) is for. I don't think I have seen it before.

That's the access to the shower valve. If you remember in the video it has the tub shower combo and the valve is down low.

That 31TS has a lot of nice features, but there's a lot of snake oil in that video.

The part about being the "finest four season coach". Maybe the new ones are a lot different than mine, but I would not even consider it a four season coach; much less the finest.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the Wildcat. But I would consider it a mid-level unit.

Another bit of "snake oil" is when he talks about the front storage compartment he says it has a heater in it. We all know that's wrong. It has ambient heat but not a heater, big difference.

My heater is located in the front compartment just like he talk about. The bedroom doesn't get very much heat like many of you talk about.

Re: This Guy Makes Me Want To Buy A Wildcat!!
Our front storage is heated from the furnace with duct work. All storage tanks are fully enclosed and heated as well.
The morning of our walk thru when buying the trailer; It was in the teens with snow and ice covering the ground. Our dealer had the furnace on and the Cat nice and warm before we arrived. They had placed a small digital thermometer in the front storage compartment. It read low 60's when he opened it up. Every crack in the front storage is insulated and/or sprayed with foam sealant.
Cold weather use was a big selling point for us and the dealer wanted to show us the heated underbelly and storage. It helped "seal" the deal as well.
They are not meant as full time living quarters but I think they are very capable of a few cold weather trips. Maybe that qualifies as "four seasons" in some minds.

Glad to hear it. That is a huge improvement over my model. My front compartment is heated as you describe, but my holding tanks are only enclosed by the "plasticized card board" underbelly and no heat at all.
