No Electric at Fishing Bridge
FYI
According to the Xanterra website and other sources I’ve checked, Fishing Bridge Campground in Yellowstone NP won’t have electricity available at the RV sites for the 2010 season. Fishing Bridge was the only campground to offer full hookups within Yellowstone NP and will still have water and sewer at the sites. I’ve been unable to find the specific reason as to why electric won’t be available at the sites.
Xanterra is the concessionaire that operates Fishing Bridge, Madison, Bridge Bay, Grant Village, and Canyon campgrounds for the National Park Service.

Re: No Electric at Fishing Bridge
If Xanterra is the concessionaire, I guess that the NPS is responsible for the infrastructure of the NP campgrounds. Given their budget woes, it'll probably never get fixed.
BTW, saw an article recently that says that Xanterra is the proud new owner of the Grand Canyon Railway, Hotel and Campground. Hope they can do the maintenance job.
