Pet Thread - part 2

Post by Scruffy and Tater on Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:38 am

The first pet thread is getting so long, and so many photos, it's taking quite a while to open, so, I'll start a new one.

This is our California granddogger, Sparky, visiting Santa.

Our Winston just turned 15!!

He got a day at the doggie spa where he got the works...oatmeal bath and everything!! He got a new squeaky toy and a KFC chicken strip meal all to himself. We took him to the lake for a picnic and a nice walk.

We had a ball watching him have a ball!!

They are rare around here as well. I had one as a kid and always wanted another ever since. We drove about 5 hours up to Pennsylvania to get him 7 years ago.

Our Vet tells us Tanner is the only Irish Setter he has as a patient.

He's a very special Dog to us. One that only comes around once or twice in a lifetime.

We also have a 7 year old Golden Retriever named Taylor. He and Tanner are only a few weeks apart in age. We love him dearly too. He doesn't like to ride in vehicles and is a bit hyper but we wouldn't trade him for a brand new Wildcat!

Heres Bailey the Boxer with us at Old Salem Campground , Lake oconee.

My niece has a daughter named Bailey and a step daughter named bailey the same ages. they were there camping with us in their camper from Knoxville,Tn. Nothing funnier to holler your dogs name and see two little girls look back at you with that look " What ? "

This is Kira (akita), she's 2 years old and loves to go camping. She loves to run loose in the sand dunes when we go to the desert. Also loves to ride in the back seat of the truck and look out the windows.
