Jim&Dianne73 thanks for the post. It has been about 4 years since I have been back to my home state. Sure would be great to visit the Root Beer restaurant. Can you tell me what town it is located.

Thanks Jim that sounds almost like the one I was born in. Tovey, IL which is south of Springfield around 30 miles. Thanks for providing the SIU information.

Jim, have you ever been to Tunnel Hill, IL? It's a little town nestled between two hills - with an abandoned RR track going through it. The track is a hiking trail now. Scruffy's Grandma lived there all of the years that I knew her.

Also, do you know any of the Kellers in Anna?

Tater

Tater , DW and I have rode bikes on the trail at Vienna , it starts at Harrisburg and they have about 45 miles of walking/biking trails along the old railroad bed to south of Vienna . It is a neat trail which goes through several of the small towns, with places you can get off and on along the way . It has been years but I have been to Tunnel Hill . I know several Kellers that live in Anna . Which group of them. LOL Jim
