Home, For Awhile

Post by Frank L on 11/3/2009, 1:15 am

We finally arrived home after 7,280 miles without a mishap. Our trip took us from Cobbs Creek to Las Vegas and back (another route) in 41 days. They were absolutely delightful days without a care in the world. I could have kept going by the DW needed a grandchildren fix. Looking forward to the 5th of January when we roll again. This time for ten weeks. The Wildcat could not have done better. It serves our purposes well and we are getting 9.8 mpg overall. I would try and post some pictures, however there are just so many angels that you can take of truck and trailer

Frank,

Welcome back! I completely understand about the "grandchild fix". Getting between grandma and the grandkids is like stepping between a mother bear and her cubs.

It was good to hear that your trip was a safe one. Where ya goin next? Hope to see you at Asheville East KOA again. See ya down the road.

January takes us to Florida where we will be playing "hopscotch" between State Parks. Two weeks at each, five in all.

Will you be at any state parks in the Disney World area in late January?

The last two weeks of January, we will be in Collier-Seminole SP down the the "glades". We won't be in the Kissimmee area until first two weeks of March.

Unfortunately, we'll be back home by the end of February. Probably gonna be taking care of our granddoggers (2 Rat Terriers) in March while our daughter and son-in-law are at Rangers spring training in AZ. Unless they decide to go to Las Vegas instead. I know what MY choice would be. Ch-ching!
