Post by timge on Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:39 pm

I Googled "Forest River Wildcat" and this forum showed up 5th primary link on the list. For the short time the site has been up that is an outstanding Google ranking! cheers

How do you get rated on Google? Just curious.

They use a sophisticated (secret) algorithm with many factors to determine your ranking that include your metatags, keywords, site hits, number of links to your site, site activity, etc. I said congratulations, because it usually takes their bots roaming through your site a month before it even recognizes your site if you submit it to them. To hit that high of ranking with those search terms this early after creation is really outstanding. People searching for Forest River Wildcat through Google will see this site about halfway down page 1. Remember when you are using that three word search you are competing for ranking against a lot of dealers. So the site designers did a good job of putting together the right combination of factors that they can control.

Of course you can pay them and get a top 3 listing.

BTW- if you Google "Forest River Wildcat Forums" the old site comes in at #1 and this one at #8. I don't think the old one comes in on page one with the terms "Forest River Wildcat".
