'01 28BH slide seal
New here, new to 5's. Quick question:
have a chance to pick up an 01 wc 28bh, looks clean and dry inside, and well cared for, for about 3k. However, Slide seal on rear vertical wall if the slider is loose and hanging inside cabin. Is this something fairly easily fixable or should I run run run like the wind?
I'm relatively adept with tools and capable of doing maintenance, but old and wise enough to pause for a sanity check :=)
this is something of a winter escape and a "see if we like it" before we fall any more in list with the 31TS!!!
thanks in advance...

Re: '01 28BH slide seal
Hello and
to the forum.
Not sure about an 01 model, but if its the inside rubber, there is a track that the rubber should be inserted inon the camper exterior wall. Take a close look with the slide in, you should see the track and the ridge of the rubber. Just push it back in. Mine was pulling out cause there was rope caulk on the seal of the slide, so each time the slide went out, the inside rubber would stick to the caulk, causing the rubber to be pulled out of the track. Others have used a glue to connect theirs back in place. After I cleaned off the caulk, rubber stays put.
