Concertone DVD?
2008 24RL
Does the "Concertone" play DVD on to a TV? Or do you need an external DVD player?
And is there a diagram on the hook up the entertainment center?

Re: Concertone DVD?
Yes, it will play a DVD to a TV if you have the Concertone that plays DVDs. There is a video out plug (yellow RCA cable) that you'll need to run to your TV. The sound will play from the Concertone speakers. If you have a high-end HDTV, then you'll probably want the external DVD player and a HDMI cable from the DVD player to the TV, then audio cables from the DVD player to the audio in jacks to the Concertone.

The concertone will play standard DVD, but you will need a TV to view them as Mark said.
A standard DVD only outputs 640x480 (standard TV) or 720x480 (wide screen). In this case, a HDMI cable is overkill. The yellow RCA (composite) is fine. This is especially true for sets under 34". You just won't see a substantial difference in quality at that size. I hope no one installs a set in their trailer bigger than that! That's crazy. I have a couple 55" HDTVs at home and you have to sit about 12ft minimum back to enjoy them. The HD picture is awesome even for being 8 years old.
If you have a bluray (HD DVD) player, that's a different story. HDMI all the way. But again, most people can't see a major difference on a smaller TV.

The reason that I mentioned the HDMI cable, is try to find a DVD player that does not "upconvert" the signal to "HD like." If you are a video junkie, regardless of the size of TV, you'll want the HDMI cable.
But don't listen to me, I don't have a TV in my trailer, keeps me from staying inside.
