Amen Brother!! And all we are being fed is how many jobs have been saved/created. But the truth is, take that small number, divide it into the cost of this "fantasic revelation", and those people could have simply been paid to stay home, and at a huge savings at that!!!!

Winona has been more fortunate: employment has been rising for four consecutive months. The unemployment rate here is currently 7%; still not great, but a lot better than the national average.

The lose of one job is bad enough, but that many is devastating. The facility where I used to work at one time employed 16,500 people. It just closed 2 weeks ago...no one left.

I retired from the Merrimack Valley manufacturing plant of Lucent Technologies is 2000. During the glory days of the plant (mid 80's) there were 12,500 working at the plant. The facility of almost 2,000,000 sqft was sold and is being turned into a business condo. Alcatel-Lucent is gone and all its manufacturing (closing 15 plants in the U.S.) is done overseas. North Andover, MA was devistated by this loss.

BUt, gosh guys, I'm feeling so much healthier today. Thank you Sneaker of the House Pelosi.

My wife works down the street from that plant. That building is huge! I don't see any way they could ever fill it up.

We just got the same bad news the original Transcraft trailor factory is shutting down . There was still about 75 jobs left there down from 200 at the first of the year. We are a town of 5000 and have lost 2 other factories The original Bunny Bread bakery and Florishiem Shoes several years ago .

I picked up quit a few trailers from there when I was driving OTR. Franklin was always my first pick up when leaving the house. I would drop an empty trailer off and pick up a loaded one full of paper rolls heading out. I never had to worry about a local load getting me out of the house. This really stinks for our area. My kids always hated the smell when we drove down 58. I guess the smell of money is going away.

Same story in our town, rheem A/C plant closed , moved to mexico. Big prison system and mental health hospitals all pretty much closed.

The young ceo's didn't think to look ahead when they moved to mexico. All they saw was the immediate profit. Now that so many people in the USA have lost their jobs, Those mexican / china moves ain't paying off so good.
