Greeting from Schertz TX

Post by Frank L on 10/12/2009, 11:06 am

Day 26 of our venture finds us in Schertz, TX, 22 miles out of San Antonio. We are laid over here for five days, because DW has a quilt show in Houston the 16th. So we are running a bit ahead of schedule. That's ok though, it gives me a little time to do some chores on the truck and trailer and just kick back in general. Since I last checked in, we have stayed at Circus Circus in Las Vegas; Cowboy RV Park in Mesa, AZ; The Hacienda RV Resort in Las Cruces, NM (FIVE STAR) (Included a margurita happy hour) ; Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, TX and now Stone Creek in Schertz. Each place has its own personality, much of which is influenced by the drastic changes in geography. We have enjoyed everyone. When I return, I will put some pictures together of our venture. (I also want to plug the 5th Airborn Hitch and this is at the encouragement of my wife. She says it makes traveling {with the fifth wheel} fun!) Happy Trails
