Durango RV Resort, On a scale of one to five it is a ten....

WOW;

What a beautiful place. See at
www.durangorvresorts.com

This is immaculate, with huge level spacious sites, some overlooking the river, concrete pads, full hookups, swimming pool, spa, putting course, club house, pet friendly, this RV park has it all. It is by far the nicest RV park that we have ever seen. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so click on the above to see all the amenities.
With a side bonus of being right next door to the best restaurant in the north state, Shari's. See Lee the manager at Shari's and he will make your dining a very pleasant one. We drive the 25 miles to eat there, because it is by far the most friendly, great tasty food, and very nice atmosphere.
We were given a tour of Durango RV Resort by Manager Bob Dougherty, and again we were made to feel very welcome and special.
If you come up or down I-5 and go through Red Bluff California, and do not stay at their resort and eat at Shari's, then you have missed a true experiance.
I am giving this RV Park a ten star rating on a one to five scale.
Do yourself a favor and enjoy the beauty of the park.

I spotted this and thought of Durango Colorado, where the wife and I
used to live. Nope, Redding California, we've stayed twice a
little further south at Red Bluff. The Red Bluff RV Park, IIRC,
is a really nice quiet place, well kept, but recreational opportunities
are lacking. Walking distance to a pretty good Mexican joint for
dinner, we do like our Tex-Mex. One big plus, alone was probably
worth the price, at least to us, was the ability to wash the both
vehicles while parked there. Lots of our road grime/dead bugs
were deposited there.

Yes, Red Bluff California is about 25 miles south of Redding and about 133 miles north of Sacramento. Red Bluff has many attractions of which some are the County Fair that is going on this weekend. Also they are famous for hosting the speed boat races in the Sacramento river.
