Rockwell RV Park - 09/12/09

Rockwell RV Park (Good Sam) in Oklahoma City is on the west end of town just off of I-40. This was definitely an overniter, though the sites were big rig friendly (wide and long). It's one of those parks that time has just seemed to pass it by. There was evidence that maintenance needed to be done here and there, but overall, it was safe and good for and overnite stay. The staffer who checked us in was friendly, but there was no escort to our site. That's a nice touch, but in our case not needed. I think I would look for another park if in the OK City area if I were staying longer though.

Again, no pix because it was raining when we got there and raining this AM when we left. It rained all the way across Texas and didn't start to clear up until well into New Mexico this afternoon.
