Nashville KOA
Since this is the 2nd time we've stayed at this KOA we knew what to expect. KOA Corporate owns this KOA and took it over from an independent operator sometime around 2000. The Jellystone Park CG on Music City Drive used to be the KOA here in Nashville until the owners sold out to KOA and moved on. So did the campground. It's located just beyond the Camping World on Music City Drive.
That being said, you can see from the pix that this is an older CG. The spaces are kind of close together. We had room for the slides without impinging on our neighbors site, but due to the light pole we couldn't lower our awning. That was the drawback to K16, but was unique to this site. Unless we're staying for 4 or more days, we don't put the awning out any way.

Otherwise, this CG has alot going for it. There is a beautiful pool, free entertainment each night in the KOA Barn Theatre and a well stocked store. Gray Line has a desk in the KOA office and picks up for their various tours right at the office. We found this to be a great feature, as we didn't have to use the truck to get downtown. We took the Best Of Nashville tour and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Except for the site size, I would recommend this park. There are two others here on Music City drive and they're both about the same age as this KOA. All of them harken back to the glory days when the Opryland Amusement Park was the big venue in this area. Now they have Oprymills (Shoprymills) as the natives call it.
On to the North Little Rock KOA tomorrow.

Re: Nashville KOA
Hi Mike,
We also stayed at this KOA, and I agree, it is a good spot to stay. We were in site # I-5, and yes, a little tight.
We also stayed in Little Rock KOA, site Y-9, very small sites. The guy next to us, his slide was over our picnic table which was almost touching our camper.
Have a safe trip....

Re: Nashville KOA
We have stayed there twice. It was always a nice clean place to stay. On our way out west a few months ago, we stayed at Jellystone Park down the road. It was a nice place also and was a little less money. Dive safe and have a great trip.
