St Joseph Penninsula Stae Park , FLA

Post by IgowhereImtowed on 8/17/2009, 3:11 pm

Great spot, this is called the forgotten coast for a reason, its "the country" for the folks in Florida, no Walmart, tourist traps, just allot of secluded beach and great fishing, one side of the campground is the bay, full of Scallops, Speckled trout, shark, the other side of the road is the Gulf with endless beach very secluded.. bring ant spay, lots of sugar ants , deer, Raccoons, crabs, a few alligators

It sounds great. We're thinking of making our next trip to Orlando more relaxing than usual, maybe spend an extra night or two in some state parks. We're thinking of Gulf shores on the way home, maybe St. Joseph would be a good choice on the way there.

Thanks for the review.
