Carpet replacement.

Carpet replacement.
We've bought another FW, older and different manufacturer, and are
thinking of replacing the carpet. We're keeping our Wildcat for
use up here in the summer.
The other FW is parked in Arizona, for winter use, and we're
considering replacing the carpet with something like "Tarkett".
This unit will never be moved by me, except maybe with a chainsaw, so
I'm not concerned about closing the slides, heck it's got steel cables
holding it down. What I am concerned with is how to cover the
gap/bump the slide produces in the floor. Every photo I've seen
for replacing the flooring leaves the carpet that's "on" the
slide. We want to completely remove it.
Anybody got any ideas or other photos?
