Climatech Frigid Weather Insulation Package???

Post by Rich5117 on 8/11/2009, 4:17 am

I was checking the underbelly attachment screws this weekend to make sure they were not hitting the tanks. I am interested to find out if anybody can tell me what I am supposed to see regarding the New Climatech package. I did not see any additional insulation in the underbelly as shown in their new brochure and am wondering if my unit was built correctly.

Rich,

I tried to research the "NEW" Climatech package for you, and came up with nothing!! I have a feeling, it's just a fancy new name they tacked on to the old under liner technology. If anyone knows something different, please chime in.

If you desire more insulation around your tanks, you'll have to install Rich's new Insultech winter weather anti-freezing package. It can be found at any hardware store; comes in rolls; is colored pink; and usually has R22 stamped on the side. clown

As a side note, I'm amazed to see all the "NEW" features listed on Forest River's brochure that have actually been standard features for years. Nothing "New" at all about most items listed!!

Example: The "NEW" outside entertainmnet package consisting of: two speakers and cable connectors was already on my Cat when I bought it new back in 2006. Nothing "NEW" about it!!
