Priest Gulch Campground Southwestern Colorado

Post by Gearitis on 8/2/2009, 3:01 am

If you are looking for great scenery, fishing, 4 wheeling, or just plane ole "lovin the outdoors" and cool every night, you need to try Priest Gulch Campground and RV park. This is located between Dolores, CO and Rico, CO. I have stayed many times and amazed at the beauty. Cell phones do not work, there is 1 payphone, you have washers, dryers, showers, cabins. The Dolores river runs directly thru the park and a bridge transverses the river to accomodate the other half of the park. The bridge is a stong bridge an I have witness big rigs going to the other side. The park is open May 1st thru October. I have always been greeted friendly and accomodating. Many stay the summer, and leave just as hunting season opens. I have stayed and witnessed almost every type of RV park and campground that you can imagine and this is my favorite from East Coast to West.

Enjoy

Gearitis,
welcome to the forum. It's nice to see we have another member from Texas. What model/year Wildcat to you have? And what do you pull it with?

Thanks for the review. We'd love to see photos if you have them.
