outside lighting on 28RK
On my wildcat i have two big outside lights , one below the awning and one on the other side of the 5er beside the slide. We play alot of games when we camp and we use the light under the awning alot, the problem i have is both lights are on the same switch so while we are playing a game we also light up the neighbors, my question is has anybody ever rewired or added a switch to shut off the light on the slide side. I was thinking about going through the back of the light itself and adding a switch, looks like it the light is directly behind my bedroom closet, and yes i have thought about taking the bulb out already but i use that light once in a while. thanks for any imput you have.

My driver side light is on the switch next to the bath room and other is next to the door on my 30 LSBS. I never see both light on the same switch. I guess you could put one of the light on another switch as long it gets the 12volts.

I just put a toggle switch on the bottom of the light cover. It would have probably been better to put a switch on the inside of the camper.

Forest River must have had complaints about the lack of separate switches because my Cat has two switches by the door labled "Door Side Light" and "Off Door Side Light".

I actually ordered two switches from Three Way Campers out of Georgia as I messed them up trying to change them from one side to the other. My bathroom switch was on the outside and the back light was on the inside next to the door. I kept turning on the wrong light. I called the manufacture of the switch and they suggested Three Way as they carry most of the Forest River switches. They also carry cover plates and if you moved over then you could install the new switch with cover. Just my 2 cents.
