awning problem

The arms on my awning won't line up at the top when I am rolling it up. Does anyone know how to adjust this so they will line up?

Is the awning fabric rolling up straight? If the awning is skewed to one side it will cause the arms to pull.

Yeah, the fabric is loose in the roller so you need to extend the awning and push on the framework to the side you need to get it aligned. Once I figure out the sweet spot, I put a mark on the roller so I make sure the fabric is in line with that point before I roll it up.
