Desoto State Park

Just got back from Desoto State Park near Ft. Payne Alabama. For those of you who said " where? " its where the group Alabama is from. They just completed a year long renovation of the campsite. New bath houses. Full hook ups including cable with a load of channels. They have a pool close to the registration office. There is a small use fee for the pool.The whole park is full of wildlife and miles of hiking trails. Very nice. The sites vary on size and all. But overall its a great place to stay. Only problem I seen was some of the sewer hook ups were up hill just a little for my 'Cat. But I guess that differs from rv to rv. Still good place to stay.Very beautiful setting.
