New to forum
Hi from Oklahoma
Just wanted to say I really enjoy the forum. We have had our Cat since September 08 and have enjoyed it. So far no problems, however I'm not sure if I like the electric awning. Our previous 5vers we could adjust and not worry when raining or normal Ok wind. Thanks for sharing all the great info.

Glad to have you with us. A lot of good sharing takes place here. Glad to see you are enjoying the 'Cat, and keep us informed. We are glad our '08 came with the manual awning, but it sounds like with the adaptations/modifications that are available, that the electric awning may not be too bad.

Hi Skinner,
to the forum. We lived in Oklahoma from 1999 to 2007. We probably would have stayed there except we wanted to get closer to our daughter.

Re: New to forum
!Just past the one year mark owning our Wildcat and had very minor issues so far (knock on wood).
By the way, this is our first as camper and have to say I like the electric awning. I'm a "bat switch" kind of guy so the more switches the happier I am! (only if htey are working....)

Welcome Skinner. I used to live in Tulsa and worked at the City of Faith on Oral Roberts U campus. Passed by Roy Clark's mansion every morning on my way to work. Great town!! Great state!!

Howdy Skinner and nice to meet you. I share your comment on the awning....it's kind of a double edge sword. I like the push button it just seems weak!! Time will tell.
Welcome and happy camping.

TC,
You probably lived pretty close to us in Tulsa. We were at 97th and Yale.

Re: New to forum
Tater, I didn't know you folks lived in Oklahoma.
The company I worked for at the time ended up transfering me to Oklahoma City after just a few months in Tulsa. I lived about five minutes away from the Baptist Medical Center just off of Lake Hefner Parkway. Rented a condo right on Lake Hefner! That area was really nice!!
That was over 25 years ago!! Bet things have changed just a tad since then.
Skinner, what part of Oklahoma do you call home?

I live near Piedmont which is NW of OKC off NW Highway. Our office is at 63rd and Hefner Parkway, I'm lucky enough to see Lake Hefner from my office window. Yes things have changed alot in 25 years around here.

Re: New to forum
TC, I guess you didn't live very close to us. Maybe Roy Clark moved after you left Tulsa. There is a home located a couple miles from where we lived. It was in a secluded area and was surrounded by a solid fence. Our realtor told us that was Roy Clark's home. So, maybe he moved sometime between when you lived there and when we lived there.

Re: New to forum
His mansion was a big place set back away from the road and was surrounded by a fence up next to the road; don't remember if the fence was stone or iron. Lots of mature trees on the property. I remember it was on my right side as I was going to work in the morning. I don't even remember what street it was on now. In 25 years, it's very possible he sold and moved. Doesn't he have a show in Branson?
