Beachfront Rv Park, Brookings Oregon. We came over from Redding via hwy 299 "beautiful drive" and stayed the first couple nights at Redwood Trails Rv Park near Orick Ca. Then came up here to Brookings, and we have liked it so much we have stayed here. It will be over 102 degrees up to 112 degrees for two weeks solid, so we like to get out of town while the heat is so high. It has been 65 to 72 degrees here, and it sure is a relief from the summer heat in Redding. We do not have humidity in Redding, but over 102 degrees is HOT, humidity or not. I will give you a call today.
Life is good.
btw,,, there are two other families from Redding here in this park, all enjoying the cool weather. I will post pictures when we get to a faster wireless connection.

Our daughter in Southern CA says it's too hot to cook. I didn't ask her how hot that was. Anything over 80 is too hot for her to cook. Wink

I just saw a news clip on yahoo about them having to save a bunch of people trying to surf the big stuff,,,,, They were saying some waves were 20'....

I'm in GA,,,, unless theres a hurricane off shore our waves are pretty much like the one's in your pic's. I'll agree with seeing one of those from a distance.

When I lived in Ft lauderdale , FL there were a bunch of mornings I'd ride by the ocean and it would be flat and smooth as Glass,,,, kinda weird looking.
